Introducing Messaging - chat, book, and manage your Holiday Houses all in one place.
Guests will be able to send you messages directly from your listing before they request a booking. Messaging is available to all owners on our Pay Per Booking pricing plan.
When you receive a new message, you'll be alerted via email. You’ll also find your messages from the messages tab in your Holiday Houses account.
You can edit the details (like dates and price) before the renter requests the booking.
Anything you edit through the messaging system overrides your standard rates and minimum night setup as a one-off, so this means that you don't need to change the rates/minimum nights on your listing if you are offering a stay/special rate that is outside your standard setup.

Guest requests to book
Once the guest has requested to book your property, it will appear as ‘pending’ until you accept the booking.
The booking can also be declined at this stage.
Accepting a booking
Once you accept the booking, the status will update to ‘Accepted’.
Your message history will now be in one place for you to easily manage. The easy filter system allows you to sort by accepted, pending and declined.
You will still be able to manage your bookings directly from a booking request email, or from your Holiday House account, as you have in the past.
