How it works
If a listing has the option to 'Book' or 'Instant Book', you will be able to make an online payment and pay by credit/debit card through Holiday Houses. Your card will only be charged if the booking is confirmed.
Owners can pre-determine whether they want to charge the full amount at confirmation, or a percentage deposit at confirmation then the balance 10 days before check-in. When you fill out your booking dates, on the following page (before payment) it will specify if you will be charged full payment or a deposit, upon confirmation of your booking request.
Your payment will be held securely by Holiday Houses until after you have checked into the property.
What is the CSC (Card Security Code) field?
The card security code is a unique three or four digit, non-embossed security number, associated to your credit card number, as illustrated below.
Visa / MasterCard
The three-digit card verification code (CVV or CVC2) is non-embossed and typically printed on the signature panel of your card, immediately after the card's standard number. In some cases you may see the last 4 digits of your card number with the additional 3 digit security code following.
American Express
The card security code for your American Express card is a four-digit card identification number (CID or 4DBC) located on the front of your credit card, above your main credit card number.
